Hello, my name is Inder. I am a Certified Nutritional Practitioner (CNP) and a current member in good standing with the Canadian Association of Natural Nutritional Practitioners (CANNP). I graduated with Honours from the Institute of Holistic Nutrition in 2019. I have a previous educational background as a pharmacy technician and a diploma in advanced aesthetics. I have taken additional nutritional training in digestive and GI health, detoxification and biotransformation and nutrition for mental health, taught by industry leaders in functional medicine. I completed training for cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) techniques at the Oshawa Institute of Psychotherapy.
I lived most of my life with anxiety. I was not engaging in healthy ways of coping and managing the anxiety and oftentimes depression I was feeling. I started meditating daily in 2017 and with the practice I was led to a deeper connection with myself. I naturally wanted to start eating healthier, I gave up unhealthy habits, I found myself wanting to be in nature often and craving peace within. Upon research I discovered Holistic Nutrition and I knew at that moment I felt a sense of connection to something which was so powerful. I learned to listen to my body and nourish it with healthy food., while working on the physical, mental, and spiritual aspects of my well-being. By adopting holistic wellness in my life I have felt improved energy and exceptional health both mentally and physically.
I am a mom of 2 wonderful and loving boys, age 10 and 14. My boys have been the greatest inspiration for me on this journey to wellness and inner peace. I enjoy reading spiritual text, and motivational books. I like to meet new people, walk my dog and inhale beautiful crisp fall air!
I believe it is our birth-right to be healthy as can be, but it is also our responsibility to take the necessary steps to make that happen. I look forward to working with you!
