Up until now, you may have been looking in the wrong place for the solution to your skin issue. Often times, when issues appear on our skin, we only look for factors on the outside of our bodies that may be irritating our skin. We begin to explore the possibility that our laundry detergent, skin care products, makeup, hand soap, or pet may be the culprit. If you have already ruled out all these factors and are still on the hunt for the cause of your inflamed, itchy and dry skin; maybe you need to consider what’s happening on the inside.
When it comes to trying to find the root cause of a particular skin issue, it can be exhausting, frustrating and very time consuming. Sometimes, the culprit ends up being something that you would have never thought of.
I would like to share my personal story.
A couple of years ago, I was covered in rashes. My entire face, neck, ears, arms, back, abdomen and shins had rashes. It was incredibly itchy and my skin would sting from all the scratching. It was terrible. I did everything possible to find out what my body was reacting to. I threw out all my make-up, changed my laundry detergent, bought new bedding, changed my skincare products, etc. You name it, I did it. But, nothing worked.
Being genetically predisposed to having eczema, I was told by 12 different medical doctors that what I had was definitely eczema, and that there was nothing I could do about it except manage my symptoms using topical steroid creams. This was a concern to me, since I knew the dangerous side effects of steroid creams, and I really did not want to start a life-long dependency on them. On the other hand, I also did not want to continue to experience the discomfort of eczema. So, I ended up using steroid creams at a very low dosage for only 2 weeks. My symptoms went away almost immediately, but once I stopped the creams, my rashes came back, and this time with a vengeance. I was in a worse place than where I was before I used the medications. Realizing this, I made the decision to look at alternative approaches.
I started to do a lot of research on my own and began to understand how much of an impact food played in skin health. I changed my diet, where I temporarily eliminated gluten, sugar, dairy, and eventually, all cooked foods. I began to work with a Holistic Nutritionist, who guided me through a gut cleanse and gut restoration protocol. This brought me about 60-70% of the way in my healing journey and then I began to plateau. What was causing the other 30-40%?
Turns out that I had an intolerance to fats and oils, which are found everywhere – omega supplements, nuts, seeds, meats, salad dressings, condiments, dairy etc.
How did I know that I was intolerant to fats and oils? I met a BIE Practitioner, who muscle tested me to a whole bunch of dietary oils stressors (ex. olive oil, coconut oil, peanut oil, walnut oil, etc.) and fatty acids stressors (ex. EPA and DHA, which are found in omega 3 supplements). I muscle tested positive to these stressors, which meant that my body did not properly recognize the frequencies of these substances. Without the body properly recognizing the frequencies of these substances, it is thought that the body would lack the ability to properly metabolize and eliminate them. As a result, symptoms appear. In my case, it showed up on my skin as rashes.
So, how could I get my body to recognize the frequencies of fats and oils?
I used BIE, which stands for BioEnergetics Intolerance Elimination. It is a natural, noninvasive technology that helps the body recognize stressors that cause specific symptoms. It does this through the use of a specialized device that directs the frequency of the stressors to the body. Once the frequencies are re-introduced to the body, the body gets “re-educated” on what the stressor is. Moving forward, when the body is exposed to that substance, it knows what it is and what to do with it. The body no longer “blocks” or “rejects” the substance.
After one BIE session, my rash almost cleared up 100% within 48 hours. I can now eat fats and oils in moderate amounts without experiencing any adverse effects!
I wanted to share my story to, first and foremost, instill hope that it’s possible to find the culprit, even when it feels like you have exhausted all possibilities. Secondly, I hope that my story encourages those of you that are still on a quest for answers, to explore the possibility that the major cause of the issue is coming from within.
Finding the root cause of your skin rash can be a long investigative process. Being fascinated by what BIE has done for me and my skin, I decided to get licensed in this health modality myself and am now dedicated to helping others heal their skin.
As a BIE Practitioner, I help my clients identify the stressors that are causing their skin rashes, and then normalized their bodies to the appropriate stressors. As a result, their bodies can become energetically balanced and return to a homeostatic state, where healing can begin! If you’re tired of trying to find what is causing your skin problems, consider booking an initial consultation for BIE. The session will include an assessment, where you will be muscle tested to approximately 100-150 stressors, followed by the re-introduction of the frequencies that you muscle test positive to.
