ABOUT SHREYA

Determine root cause and prevent disease, that is my goal. My family values and beliefs have always aligned with the principles of Naturopathic Medicine: treat the root cause using the best defense system – our own body. If we can support our body and work from the inside-out, we are setting ourselves up for optimal and long-term health.

As a Naturopathic Doctor, I look to optimize your health the following ways:

  • Being an advocator for your health and wellbeing

  • Ensuring that you feel empowered to make changes and understand your body

  • Guide you through the best possible nutrition and lifestyle changes that are best for you without you feeling overly restricted (because that is certainly not sustainable)

  • Staying on top of new research that may benefit you and your body

  • Determining the root cause of your symptoms using appropriate testing, bloodwork, and a very detailed intake

  • Making sure the changes we make are sustainable, long-lasting, and balanced.

Clinical focus:

Although I have experience in a wide variety of different conditions, my practice is primarily focused on women’s health, fertility, PCOS. I also work extensively with insulin resistance, diabetes, and cardiovascular disease.

Other areas I have experience working with include:

  • (Peri and post) Menopause

  • Hormone imbalance (PMS, endometriosis, hormonal acne…etc.)

  • Pre-conception and post-natal care

  • Mental health concerns such as anxiety and depression

  • Stress and burnout

  • Insomnia

  • Digestive concerns

  • Chronic disease

  • …and more!

Dr. Shreya first became interested in the field of Naturopathic Medicine because she wanted to provide patients with long-lasting change by determining the root cause and preventing the progression of disease. She strives to use the body’s own defense systems to improve quality of life and prevent future illnesses through diet, nutrition, lifestyle, and supplementation (when necessary). She is passionate about evidence-informed integrative health to provide you with the best treatment possible.
